*Game Name*: Stifle Democracy
*Game Type*: Standard
*Notes*: I am using this game as a chance to introduce two friends to
Redscape, so I am looking for inexperienced players. Please be reliable
about deadlines- I don't want my friends to get a bad first impression of
the site! Also, since I do already have two players set to play, there are
only 5 openings.
*Rank Requirement*: Open to all, but relatively new players strongly
preferred
*Victory Conditions*: An 18+ center solo or DIAS only
*Deadlines*: One season per week, with move deadlines on Tuesdays at 10PM
Central, retreats on Wednesdays at 10PM Central, and adjustments on
Thursdays at 10PM Central. Spring 1901 will be due Tuesday, February 9th. If
the schedule is a serious problem for you but you're interested in playing,
please specify.
*Power Assignments*: Preference lists
*Maps*: Yes (RP files and screenshots)
*Game Host*: Sharur

I'm one of those new-to-Redscape players but I ain't new to Diplomacy, I say you've messed with the rest now mess with the best! Or ally with the best. I'm like a diplomat who's really an assassin disguised as a petty official accompanying some diplomats (who are part of a larger envoy's entourage), so it's gonna be HAIRY! There will be an unprecedented, incomprehensible amount of nut-stomping awesomeness in this Diplomacy game, so five (5) raw goons better sign up in a jiffy, don't miss out or you life will be OVER!

I doubt I can provide a more... emphatic... endorsement then that, but I would like to encourage people to sign up nonetheless. I promise quality GMing!

I, Arthur Wellesley, the 1st Duke of Wellington, KG, KP, GCB, GCH, PC, FRS, have risen from the grave as a zombie by the foul Necromancy of Sharur! To restore order, I have decided to unify Europe under my cruel, hooked Nose. Contrary to popular belief, I will not be assisted by a rapscallion rifleman by the name of "Sharpe."
Let us get this game underway, and beware of "funky" aquatic assassins. I do not know what the word "funky" means thanks to my rudely-interrupted slumber, but the word is probably French.
King George commands, and we obey!

I'd like to play. I don't really have much experience but it looks like fun!

Although I'm not signing up for this game it looks like its going to be a lot of fun with such a lively crew. Best of luck to all.

Although you're no raw recruit, you'd be welcome
Four signups to go!

Someone else not signing up.
Just a note to say I'd like to use the game as part of my trial of scoring systems. I won't need any information other than who is in the game and what the final results are.

Danivon, I'll send the info to you when the game's over.
One other note: apparently I mis-entered the game's start date. It should have read Tuesday, March 9th. However, that may be pushed back anyway depending on how quickly the game fills up.

Thanks. Are you publishing the game on the forum as it progresses as well? Only some of us like to spectate

I smell your fear.
All you non-signer-uppers, I smell your fear too, fyi. It smells like old Taco Bell. Not like, day-old, that stuff's still good, especially if you saved some of the hot sauces. Nah, I'm talking double-decker-taco-got-hidden-behind-the-milk-gallons-and-slipped-behind-the-crisper months-old. Yah, that's what your fear reeks of. And I know maybe it's the prospect of Sharur's GMing that detracts you, to which I have no strong retort (if he GMs like he plays we're all in trouble LOL I kid I kid) but I'll try to make up for it with my good looks and humor, both of which are registered trademarks so you know they're quality!
Annndddd I'll stop ruining my potential alliances now.

It's not just your potential alliances you're risking here.

I'm intrigued by this game. I have played in the past, but not for several years. Preferences (from most to least preferred) would be: G, R, F, T, E, I, A
Thanks,
Mark
