Thanks. The US rocked as well. The match was so close. A thoroughly exciting game. Hope the atmosphere is just as electric when the teams meet in 2014.
As for 2010, congrats to USA on an amazing 37 medals.
Just watching the Closing Ceremony on TV at the moment

Hi everyone!
I woke up this morning still buzzing from the hockey game yesterday and from the entire Olympic experience. Being downtown Vancouver after the gold medal victory was electrifying! The entire Olympic experience was incredible!
And after being away from Redscape for so very long it was really strange that GMKib popped into my mind and I wondered whether or not you enjoyed the game as much as I did
It's fun to see the gaming and debating haven't slowed down here at all

How was the commuting downtown?
I was really impressed with the Transit system. The skytrains were packed but it was a lot of fun. I hope that Translink, despite their budget shortfalls, looks at maintaining the level of service that we've enjoyed during the Olympic games. (Unlikely that they will, but let's see.)

Randy,
Watched it recorded yesterday and really enjoyed the game. Glad it went to overtime though as I think US played better in regular time--Luongo started getting sloppy but..
Canada peppered Miller in overtime and there was only one team playing for the gold. Babcock probably gave a better motivational talk. The NHL guys are used to overtime only being worth 1 point so it was a big translational shift to focus on winning "everything". Also thought ironic that Crosby got the GWG seeing as he hadn't shone to expectation for Canada over the duration

PS: Thinking of running another game of my Forceback variant soon--your first game at Redscape back in the day!

Kudos to all Canadiens on the site! A class act country that put on a class act tournament!
